Hello, I am back from Sydney with a cold and no voice. Pictures will be up shortly. I ate very badly on the trip but surprisingly lost weight, I guess its okay to eat shit once in a while, but if and only if you know you're going to be dancing for 6 straight hours.
Other than that ive been sticking to my keto diet and training hard at the gym, I'll also post more progress pictures soon, but maybe not on this blog.

I think I should try to sleep. A bowl fell on my foot today and it hurts like hell. Completely unrelated.

It's strange how much more I write from my phone than on my actual computer. But then I have to sacrifice formatting. Okay now I'm just babbling moronically.

Tomorrow is a rest day, dreading it already. I hate ingesting calories and not doing anything to burn them off.

What Difference Can Six Days Make

I'm about to find out.

Due to my lovely cousins birthday barbecue,
the past 2 days have pretty much been a non stop binge.
I did a rough caloric breakdown and in the past one and a half days I've consumed more food than i did the entire week before.

Which means I am pretty much starting from scratch,
and I'm leaving for Sydney in 6 days.

The beachhouse trip with the cheerleaders was really.... not helpful in terms of weight loss.

It's hard to not eat when you're living with a bunch of people

I've pretty much regained whatever i lost last week.

BUT, we performed today at the RMIT Bundoora campus,

and because they have really good sporting facilities there,

after our performance I stole away for a run round the track.

I'm gonna try make up for the rest of it be eating even less

the next couple of days, no cheat meal whatsoever this week or the next!

Uni starts up again next week,

and I have to look for a new job too.

We watched this last night at Chadstone Shopping Centre.

The whole time we were on the way to the mall I couldn't remember anything

I'd heard about this movie except that it was 'really good'

and had been nominated for numerous awards.

Right as we were parking the car I remembered.

"127 hours is the movie that James Franco got nominated for Best Actor for and it's the one where he gets trapped by a rock and has to....oh no."

I'm an extremely visual person.

I also have an over active imagination.

People like me just shouldn't watch scary movies or graphic movies

or anything that isn't sunshine and ponies!

And even then, small ponies please.

After I watched Paranormal Activity 2 I sat on my living room floor hyperventilating

for half an hour and being terrified out of my mind

that the pantry door was moving by its own accord

and I started crying when I couldn't find my cat because

obviously that meant that the demon had killed him!!!

HOWEVER, I'm glad we watched it. I had been meaning to anyway.

It was one of those movies that I felt was 'neccessary'.

And I was right.

The film, besides being a complete eyeball orgasm for me (I get tripped out by walls and rocks a lot so all those wide shots of the canyons and indie short slo-mo-bird-flying-overhead shots put me in a bit of a tizzy) kind of put me in awe and left me with an immense sense of respect for James Franco as an actor.

Also, being too broke to go out or not getting to eat ice cream because your metabolism is slow don't seem like such final issues when put in comparison to having your arm crushed by a boulder.

I feel this post is overly fragmented and at times try hardish

but I'm pretty hopped up on caffeine right now so there's nothing I can do, I'm going for a run!

Here is a mundane what I did yesterday post that probably no one but

Yesterday was eventful,

met up with Julia and Mich at Sunway Pyramid,

it is slightly surreal, Julia and Mich in Malaysia, ha ha.

Kenneth and Tracee joined us a little later, and he gayed Mich up a fair bit.

Poor guy showed up in baseball cap and baggy jeans,

left with 2 dress shirts and slim Topshop jeans,

and seriously contemplating buying those loafer/boatshoes that are "all the rage" at the moment.

After doing far more shopping than any of us could really afford,

and a subpar dinner at Sakae Sushi,

we all headed back to our respective homes/hotels to get ready for Zouk.

Annnd then we went to Zouk.

Only the mainroom was open (Tuesday night clubbing? Really?)

The music was actually pretty good, it was almost enjoyable, for RnB (ugh)

and they played lots of old school stuff, as well as some real, actual, hip hop.

Sometimes I like pop music.

Yeah I'm man enough to say it.

I like real pop music though, not that shitty autotuned overlayered crap

that Britney is churning out these days

which is pretty much her jizzing her pants on repeat.

I like pop that is pop,

simple lyrics that are at times nonsensical,

lots of oohs and ahhs and yeahs and babys,

and a catchy tune that you can sing along too.

I am leaving on a family trip tomorrow, just for a couple of days.

I am feeling much better today, so hopefully my fever won't be a downer for everyone.

It's a little bit surreal for me how my cousins have all grown up and changed.

Last time I was here it felt like they were just kids, the way they always would be.

This time, they're bringing a shit ton of pot for us to smoke on the beach.

I think I am getting old.

Knowing I'm going on this family trip reminded me that my visit to Malaysia is almost over.

And while this is most definitely a good thing, it is also a little bit disappointing.

The only reason I bother coming back is for the people.

And aside from the ones who are still in other countries (in which case fair enough),

most of the people I thought would be as excited to see me as I them

didn't even bother contacting me. I did meet up with a few old friends,

which was really really nice. I also got to spend a lot of time with my family.

Which of course is what's important.

During my past visits I, I wasn't really present.

I was always just counting the seconds til I could leave,

refused to be polite to extended family members,

and mostly I would be texting, texting texting texting.

I was a lovely child.

This time, while I am sure

i still spend an inordinate amount of time typing text messages on my phone,

this time around I know I have been successful in showing my family

how I've grown and changed.

I wonder what it is that made me different.........

I wonder where all that anger went.....

I'm not even angry that THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS

The upside of having a fever: You never feel hungry.

Interesting, isn't it, that I have been sick with something or other the entire time

I've been in Malaysia.

First That Cold, then That Cough, and then lo and behold I was absolutely fine in Bali, but the minute I got back to KL,

I was presented with the lovely gift of an episode of heatstroke,

resulting in my current bodily resident, The Fever.

And, most inconveniently, this is happening at the beginning of the Lunar New Year festivities, a most hectic time for my family. I'm just trying to put on a brave(albeit a pale, cold-sweaty one, but still brave!) face and play my part in the many customs and rituals that I barely understand,
